I was saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. She was a beautiful person. Ray and I had great times with her throught the years in New York-Princeton-Chatham-Santa Fe.
I always remember when she and Larry came to dinner at our apartment on 85th Street right after Ray and I were married. I was playing my new role as wife/hostess, but unfortunately my cooking skills were still next to nonexistent. As the evening went on, I was nowhere near to producing the meal. Then Barbara quietly said, "May I help you?" and followed me into our 2x4 kitchenette. She did her culinary magic and, voila, a delicious dinner was served. I loved her ever since.
All the Reid family sends love and sympathy to the Munson family
Love,
Joan
